Today, it's time to talk about one of the most important aspects of cleansing and healthy living in general - liquid sunshine! This includes green juices which are rich in chlorophyll, nature's house cleaner. It's time to rack up the benefits, so dust off that juicer, or order a jar of AIM Barley Life or AIM Leaf Greens capsules and get ready to get some of the purest plant nutrients! 

Yes, we do need fiber in our diets, but in my opinion juicing plays such a vital role too. It is instant nutrition. Nutrients pass through the mucus membranes in the mouth and into the blood stream within 15 minutes. Juicing is a way to get large amounts of vitamins and minerals into the body fast.

In the past when I have not felt well, I go into a juice fast for a day of so, using either the barley life or the freshly extracted juices. Juicing increases energy, helps the skin to have a healthier glow, and boosts immunity.

Here's a recipe I love:

Alkalizing Green Juice

  • 1 apple

  • 1 grapefruit or orange

  • 6 celery stalks

  • 1/2 cucumber

  • 2 big handfuls of kale

  • Put through a juicer and drink immediately
