Start out your Monday right. During weekends it is so easy to overeat and with the weather being a bit warmer today this is the ideal smoothie – it’s light, refreshing and will nourish your body. Ideal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I made this smoothie while visiting a dear friend currently going through cancer treatment and she thoroughly enjoyed it, I trust you will too.

Rosie’s Smoothie

  • 2 cups (16oz) water

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries

  • 1 navel orange

  • 2 handfuls of spinach

  • 1 Tablespoon Chia seeds

Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth and serve. Sweeten with 3-4 drops of plain stevia drops if necessary. You can add more water or ice depending on the consistency you like it to be. This makes 2 tall glasses.
