A Day at Lere's Barn

A special group of ladies came out to visit Lere’s Barn. They are part of the Silver Belles (Gateway’ Baptist Church Widows’ Ministry).

A special friend Sonya came to help me prep and serve. Sonya had called me to say that she wanted to help me with my next class. Well, it just so happened that this very group was started by her late mother, Ann Sweeney years ago. How amazing is that!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating life, good vibrant living whole foods and we enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship together! We also spoke about hidden sugars, the importance of fiber, and how to prep food when cooking for one.

They learnt how to make nutritious veggie power bowls using lentils and chickpeas as protein options and fresh berries and raw date balls were enjoyed as dessert. What a beautiful morning it was!

I am so deeply thankful to each and every person that has taken the time to visit Lere’s Barn. It really is an experience to visit my barn. I appreciate your support.
